Privacy Policy

Ollie is a calm companion and coach for everyday life. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. If you do not agree, please do not use Ollie.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run Ollie:

  • Profile details: name, age range, preferences you choose in onboarding/settings.
  • Chat messages: what you type (and what Ollie replies).
  • Mood check-ins: mood/notes you log and calendar view data.
  • Optional memory: a short on-device summary used to make Ollie feel consistent over time.
  • Calendar data (optional): event titles/times you allow Ollie to view, and events you ask Ollie to add.
  • Voice (optional): microphone audio for speech-to-text and voice reply settings.
  • Trusted contacts (optional): contacts you choose so you can quickly call someone you trust.
  • Purchase data (Premium): subscription status and entitlement info. Payments are handled by Apple.

2. How we store it

Ollie stores your profile, chats, mood check-ins, and memory locally on your device. You can delete everything anytime from Settings.

3. How we use data

  • Operate the app (chat, mood calendar, reminders, and your preferences).
  • Personalize Ollie based on what you choose to share.
  • Provide calendar help and reminders when enabled.
  • Provide support when you contact us.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Ollie may share limited information with service providers:

  • AI provider: to generate replies, your chat text is sent to the configured AI provider (e.g. OpenAI). If calendar is enabled, event titles/times may be included when relevant.
  • Apple: for App Store purchases and for push notifications (if enabled).
  • RevenueCat: subscription management/verification (checking Premium entitlement, restoring purchases).

5. Retention and control

You can delete your profile and all locally stored data from Settings. If you enable calendar, you can revoke access in iOS Settings at any time. You can also turn off voice, reminders, and other features at any time.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit when communicating with providers, and we encourage strong device security (passcode/Face ID) since your data is stored locally on your device.

7. Children

Ollie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of Ollie means you accept the updated policy.
